Upon graduating from the University of Incarnate Word, Darrell Potter was solicited by the United States Air Force to participate in a three year intern program, designed to mold Information Technology Managers. Mr. Potter began his internship as a requirements analyst for Air Staff software development agency. Specifically, Mr. Potter identified the needs of his users and defined their true requirements while coordinating efforts with the software developers. The next phase of his internship took Mr. Potter to an Automated Information Systems Security Officer (AISSO) position. Responsibilities includes documenting current Information Technology configurations and ensuring secure facilities abided by regulations. Mr. Potter designed a dual classification processing system to save the government in excess of 20 million dollars. His next position, Resource Management (RM), provided Mr. Potter with a focused understanding of how the United States government contracts and purchases services and goods. While employed in RM, Mr. Potter began his Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) endeavor. Soon after moving to the Product Integration Team for the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Technology, Mr. Potter completed his MCSE certification and became an primary ingredient in what is now known as WiseNet Solutions.
